Terms of Service

Last updated 15 June 2026

These Terms of Service (Terms) govern your access to and use of troveiq — the troveiq web application, vault email address and related services (together, the Service), operated by troveiq.com.au Pty Ltd (we, us, our). By creating an account, clicking "I agree", or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. What troveiq is

troveiq is a private document vault and information tool for property investors. You forward property-related documents (such as rental statements, council rates notices, water bills, strata levies, loan statements and insurance documents) to your unique vault email address, or upload them in the app. We store those documents and use automated processing (including AI) to read them and surface information such as estimated equity, cashflow, holding costs, key dates and indicative rate comparisons, and to help you assemble records at tax time.

2. Beta service

The Service is provided on an early-access / beta basis. It may change, break, or be unavailable, and features may be added or removed. We may contact you for feedback. You should not rely on the Service as your only record of any document or figure.

3. Eligibility & your account

4. Your documents and data

You retain ownership of the documents and information you provide. You grant us a licence to host, copy, process and analyse them solely to operate and improve the Service for you. We will handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring you are entitled to upload the documents you provide.

5. Not financial, tax, legal or credit advice

The figures, estimates, comparisons and insights in troveiq are indicative only and may be incomplete or wrong. They are generated in part by automated extraction from your documents and from third-party market data. They are general information, not personal advice, and do not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. Before acting, verify figures against your original documents and obtain advice from a qualified professional (for example, your accountant, financial adviser, mortgage broker or lawyer). We are not a financial adviser, tax agent, or credit assistance provider.

6. Referrals and partners

troveiq may introduce you to third-party service providers (for example, a mortgage broker such as Your Loan Store, a real-estate agency, or an insurance, conveyancing or quantity-surveying partner) where you ask us to, or choose to connect. Those providers are responsible for their own services and advice; we are not. We may receive a referral fee or commission for an introduction. Any such introduction is made only with your consent at the time, and you are free to use anyone you wish.

7. Acceptable use

8. Availability & "as is"

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that automated extraction will be accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

9. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited (at our option) to re-supplying the Service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your reliance on indicative figures, missed or misread documents, third-party services, or unavailability of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Termination

You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. On termination you may request an export of your documents within a reasonable period, after which we may delete them.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service develops. If we make a material change we'll take reasonable steps to let you know. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
